Wind, wind, wind

89º with strong south winds here in Clarinda, IA at 2:17 pm as I start this.
10 day forecast calls for some rain, some cooler weather!

In regard to the upcoming Glenn Miller Festival the weekend of June 8-11, I was asked recently about the free concert that is usually on Saturday evening on the square.  This year they are having the Pete Madison and UNO Jazz Ensemble on the square on Thursday evening at 7 pm.  Then the Shades of Blue--USAF Jazz Band will be on the square at 3 pm Sunday afternoon.  If there is rain or stormy weather at either of those times the event will be moved to the High School Auditorium.
