Stopped raining

59 degrees here in Clarinda, IA at 1 pm Wednesday as I start this.  Heavy clouds.  Had sunshine yesterday, though.  We left about 8 am and drove to Hiawatha, KS and spent the day with our Texas neighbors Harold and LaRhoda Neher.  Visiting, lunch, many games of pegs & jokers, another lunch, and drive back home.  202 miles for the day, driving in 4 states -- Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska and Kansas.

Started mowing the lawn last evening, finished this morning.  Have a lot of sticks and twigs to pick up.
Phyllis is off to the church to help with Sew & Share and also the Food Pantry which operates this afternoon.

More later, Lynn
