Memorial Day 2017

77º with bright sunshine here in Clarinda, IA at 1:00 pm as I start this on Monday.

Yesterday, as we left church, our "old" neighbors west of Clarinda were driving their team of horses, pulling a wagon down Highway 2.

After church we drove the 19 miles west to Shenandoah, IA and watched/listened to the Omaha Pipes and Drums concert sponsored by the Methodist Church there.  Money collected at the free-will offering goes to help them go to International competition in Glasgow Scotland later this year.

Last evening we wend trike riding around the hospital grounds across the street from us.  This is the 24/7 helicopter service which is "behind" the hospital.
We rode a little over 2.5 miles
