Full week of working at new church

57 degrees in Clarinda, IA as I start this at 6:50 am Sunday - predicted high of 85 degrees.

Last several days have been warm (not as warm as the 97º shows here because this is inside the pickup cab as I got in in about 4 pm Friday -- but look at the 16% humidity.  Very low for Iowa any time of year.
Friday at noon while working at the new church.

Phyllis coordinated a group to provide lunch for the workers.

Large group of people showed up to move the final office items and then vacuum, sweep, mop the floors and move the tables into the welcome area along with the just-cleaned older chairs and the new chairs into the chapel area.  Some additional new chairs can be seen in the background of photo at left.

I spent all day Friday and then Saturday morning installing 5 automatic soap dispensers,
 seven toilet paper dispensers,
 five paper towel dispensers,
and six hand sanitizer dispensers.

Spent all day Thursday steam cleaning 100+ cushioned chairs
from the old church that will be used in the front foyer area.

Thee is some thought of moving the wood from above the
front of the old church  as seen in this photo and place on front of the new church.
View as you enter chapel - sound booth ahead, cry room at right.

Last night went to square dance here in Clarinda - Larry Liebeg, from
Missouri at the right was the caller.  We danced to him in Texas
several years ago when he was still calling in his park in Alamo.

This was the SouthWest Iowa Federation dance.

Been a full week - to pick up Roberta Rarick and go to first service in the new church in an hour or so.

More later, Lynn
