Still warm here

72º with light rain here in La Feria, Texas at 7:30 am this Saturday morning as I start this.  Predicted high of 81º today.  We slept with all windows open and a fan bringing in air through the night.

Traffic, traffic, traffic.
Thursday afternoon we decided to avoid the Meet & Greet a 4:00 pm and went to Stefano's for soup & Pizza.  Friday noon the water was shut off in the park while they worked on a water main so we used that as an excuse to go into Harlingen and eat at the Panda Express.  The traffic was very heavy--not my kind of driving.  Got some stuff on sale at Walgreen's and also stopped at the car wash.
Merv Stouffer led the parade with music from the
back of his van.

Our illustrious Activity Director scheduled the Christmas Light Parade with Golf Carts at 5:00 pm -- an hour and a half before dark on Friday evening, followed by hot chocolate and cookies at the Rec Hall.

I got to fix my own lunch Thursday -- tomatoes, avocado, onions,
carrots, , mackerel, bread.  Quite a dish.

We have a Christmas Eve program at the Rec Hall this evening.  We are involved with the choir in singing and some of the program.

Merry Christmas to all reading this.  You may leave comments below.
