Christmas this weekend

Smart-phone forec
38º outside as I start this at 10:30 am on Monday the 19th.  And that is COLD for this area.

This was the forecast for Saturday -- and it did get to 87º here with bright sunshine and lots of wind.  Yesterday morning (Sunday) about 3 am the wind from the north struck and the mobile home shook slightly.  I looked at the temperature outside and it was 70º.  When we got up about 7 am it was 44º with lots and lots of north wind.
This was taken a few minutes ago

Sunday was the first church service in the RV park - a "new" pastor is filling in this year.
These photos were taken from my seat in the choir section as the people gathered for the service.

One of the latest photos I copied off Facebook of our Great Granddaughter Jessica - with Santa Clause up there in eastern Iowa.  Son Cameron had texted that it was 17 below zero on his Friday morning drive to work ---- with 35 below zero wind chill!  Our "cold" weather here is all in relativity.

Maybe later, Lynn
