On the way to Texas!

80 degrees in Martel, NE - bright sunshine.

We went to church yesterday morning, pulling the trailer and having closed up the house for the season.   This is photo of the trees in front of the church -- fall is here even though the temperatures are warm.

Choir to my right.
One couple in our church were celebrating their 60th Wedding Anniversary and we stayed for that.

We pulled out, with the trailer, about 11 am Sunday, got to Phyllis' cousin's place about 2:30 after stopping for gas and lunch at the Nebraska City crossing of 2 with I 29.
We set up beside Jan & Lynn Freye's house:
Went to niece Angie & her son Michael's place

After a visit at their place we went for a bite at Arby's

This morning we drove to brother Roger Miles' place to visit with them and their Grandson Steven and his wife Melissa with their 3 month old daughter who just returned stateside from 3 years with the Army in Germany.

Looks like we've taken up residence!  Sat out
some pots that we are taking to Texas to plant tomatoes in -- right now they have some flowers of Phyllis' in them.

Below was taken behind our trailer.  Harvest in progress.

More later, Lynn

Combine running with wagon waiting.
