Ready to go tomorrow!

Construction in progress yesterday at FUMChurch
67 degrees with light mist in Clarinda, IA at 3:00 pm this Saturday afternoon.

Thought for the Day:

Ever notice that anyone going slower than you is an idiot, but anyone going faster is a maniac? — George Carlin

I'm thinking it won't hold much more!
Drained and put away the hot tub, mowed the lawn (and bagged where there were leaves) for the last time this season before it started misting.  Have the trailer hooked up and in the driveway and Phyllis is putting the last few little things in trailer.
ABC had a game ahead of Nebraska's that ran into overtime, so only now got to start watching it -- but they are 3 scores ahead of Indiana  with 4 1/2 minutes left in first quarter.

Yesterday I cleaned the rain gutter on the west side of the shop building.  It is right under the ash tree and was really full.  There are a few more thingies to drop from the tree, but most are down.

Saw this "3 in 1 Amish Child's High Chair" on internet.  Found several places that make or sell it, but only a faint line-drawing to try to get plan for it.  It makes a high-chair, child's desk and a rocking horse.  Will pursue it--one place that makes and sells it is southwest of Fort Worth, Texas.  Would be something Great Granddaughter Jessica could use in another 5 or 6 months!

Going to Leland & Bonnie Brown's for supper this evening.  Will go to church tomorrow morning so can sing in choir one last time, and then pull out, just before noon, for near Martel, Nebraska - some 12 miles from Lincoln.  Plan on visiting niece Angie Miles Alexander and her son Michael tomorrow evening and then on Monday will spend time with great nephew and niece Steve and Melissa Miles who just arrived last week from spending 3 years in Germany in the US Army.

Hope can catch some WIFI while traveling -- have some data on my Verizon -- and keep in touch for the 14 days we will be traveling.

Later, Lynn

"Paint" by numbers - on the smartphone

Recent weeks I got into several apps of paint by numbers and Phyllis also picked up on it.  Our phones are tied together, so saved pictures...
