Full week in Kenwood today

Finally getting back to this WebLog - 12:00 Noon now - at 11:20 am when I came in from outside the temp was 84º with humidity of 63%

Started painting front steps

Half done!  Will give a second coat later
and then do the other half after it dries.

Actually got the BBQ grill uncovered and did some steaks

Ready for the table

On the table!

Washed down walls and cement yesterday

Accumulated crud under carport from summer

After washing steps, ran old furnace fan to dry them.

While washing east side of our mobile home I hosed down
Harold & LaRhoda's place

Got the dust of his golf cart, also.

Got wheel covers on, hitch cover on, and electric
jack and plug-in wires covered with plastic pail.

Coming out of Harlingen's Walmart yesterday saw all these birds in shade

At lunch at Chick-fil-A; they had continuous line at drive-thru, and had
at least three people taking orders with hand-held wireless machines
and really ran the line through.  Also had several on the pick-up side running out with orders.

Finally got around to trying the cheese and crackers we bought at the
Dutch Country General Store near Bloomfield, IA  in August on way to Granddaughter Emmy
Is good!
The tomato cage as we found it on returning last week.
Tomatoes dead, but lots of grass growing.

Removing the cage

Decided not to mess with tomatoes this year - removed the
old cage and am disassembling it.

Phyllis is up to the hall getting ready for a gathering at 2:30 today - Caramel apples and popcorn for the residents of the park.

GROANER'S CORNER:(( A man is like a fine wine. He starts out raw as grapes, and it's a woman's job to stomp on him and keep him in the dark until he matures into something she'd like to have dinner with.

OLD POSTAL CARRIERS never die, they just lose their zip
OLD PRINTERS never die, they're just not the type

OLD PROGRAMMERS never die, they just get bugged with life

OLD PROPANE TANKS never die, they just run out of gas

OLD QUARTERBACKS never die, they just fade back and pass away

OLD PROGRAMMERS never die, they just go to bits

OLD QUILTERS never die, they just go to pieces

OLD PROGRAMMERS never die, they just lose their memory

Knock Knock
Who's there !
Honeydew!
Honeydew who?
Honeydew you know how nice you look tonight?

Keep well, do good work, and keep in touch - Lynn
