Sun oh sun, where art thou?

Looking back through pictures I take about every day, last one that showed any sunshine that would make a shadow was as we left Wesson, MS on Monday, November 14th -- eight days ago!  And the last 6 days has been continuous rain, though it varies misty, to an hour or two of nothing but still with the heavy cloud cover, to drizzle, to heavy downpour.  Could be bit discouraging.

Drove in the rain the 18 miles to Nuevo Progreso, Tamaulipas, Mexico to get some meds and, of course, some Spanish peanuts.

Very little traffic when we went, though it picked up a little by 10 am when we left.

Then we went to Costco in Pharr, and later HEB (the local HyVee type chain of grocery stores) in Mercedes and never saw either place so crowded.  Parking lots full, all aisles full, all check-outs (even self-check) had long lines.

Had the famous "All Beef Tube Steak" at  Costco.

Thinking about getting this larger travel trailer............what do you think?

Will be having Thanksgiving meal at noon Thursday at the Rec Hall -- to be sunshine according to the weatherman -- and they are always right, right?
