Cruise ready

Nice weather day today, Tuesday - I went to McAllen, carpooling with two other guys, to practice of Men of A-Chord barbershopers.  Had a few more show up as the Winter Texans return.  Had a good practice.  Afterwards I drove to Mercedes where met Phyllis with Darlene Winslow and the Finkens and we drove to a barbecue place to celebrate Darlene's 84th birthday today.  Then we came back home and went over to Ardel & Marion Finkens house and played cards and then had some ice cream and cake.

Have the suitcases all packed -- should say Phyllis has them packed and neighbor lady, Maxine Koch from Ohio will pick us up just before 4 am for ride to airport.  Here is bit of our schedule:

Wednesday 11/20/19  --  United Airlines  Flight 2083  depart Harlingen 5:29 am – arrive Houston 6:44  am                      Depart Houston- 07:25 am – arrive  Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport, Florida - FLL - 10:48 am              Scheduled to board ship at 3:00 pm – departs at 5:00 pm                                                                                            Disembark ship San Diego 8:00 am Friday December 6 – to be picked up by Karen Miles – spend weekend at her home (619) 884-4194        

   Monday December 9, 2019United airlines flight 2099   - Depart San Diego 1:43 pm -  arrive Houston 6:50 pm       United Airlines Flight 4068 – Depart Houston 7:44 pm – arrive Harlingen 9:05 pm                                                                                                                                                                                                                  

Have neighbors lined up to take care of some plants and pick up mail, etc.
