Some old memories

With no activity here, I am going to go through some old photos.

From left:  Pauline Cabbage (Phyllis' mom)
Lester and Etta Runyan ( Pauline's parents),
Phyllis with Cameron.  This would probably have been in 1965, here in Clarinda.
Phyllis' mom's sisters, brothers.  From Left Ross Runyan, Marvin Runyan,
Pauline Cabbage.  In front Keith Runyan and Eva Hill

My mom & Dad Kermit & Pearl Miles in their kitchen
near Oconto, NE probably in early 1970's

Dad, Kermit Miles right after JFK was assassinated.

Back, Kermit, Roger, Phyllis, Darrell, Carolyn, Lynn, Keith; front Cameron, Michelle with Angie and Julie

Three of the brothers (w/o Darrell) -- Lynn, Roger & Darrell Miles

Am not sure who is at left, but next is favorite Aunt Edith Miles, unknown lady and then Phyllis.  Our kids
Cam and Michelle are in front.  This is at the farm house I grew up in between Callaway and Oconto, NE.

Jack, on left, and Edie on right.  Jack was dad's brother and lived near Gothenburg, NE on a farm.  They were the closest relatives of dad's so we got together with them quite often.  We lived in what was considered the edge of the Nebraska Sandhills and they lived in the Platte Valley so was quite a different lay of the land.  They had lived in or near Chicago and owned an appliance store before moving to Nebraska.
Probably in early 1970's.  Michelle, Phyllis, Cam and Lynn at the
farm house where I grew up between Callaway & Oconto, NE.

Alice Miles with Edie and Jack Miles - June 1974 at Roger's place

Think this is at home place near Oconto, NE - me with Michelle, trying to
slide down the hill south of the house.

I owned a motorcycle for six months.

Enough memories for one day.  Lynn
