80º at 7:00 pm Monday in Clarinda. Bright sunshiny day all day.
Went to local doctor today and he checked things over. He took out the 4 rather long stitches in the groin -- something like getting a sand-bur out of your underwear. Everything out from the surgery now. Met with Cardiac Rehab and set up times to go to rehab- starting this Wednesday.
Had visit from Mary Jo Herzberg after lunch today, nice to see her for a bit. LaDonna Cabbage stopped by for a while yesterday; she was married to Phyllis' cousin. And, still getting cards in the mail. Bobi Raab makes hand-made cards and she sent a nice get-well card. It took a bit to get here as she sent it to Bryan East in Lincoln, but it made it back to here.
Feeling a bit better each day and getting strength back; imagine that will improve when doing the re-hab.
