With sadness I must say my brother Darrell's wife Lin passed away yesterday morning in Leesburg, FL. She had been diagnosed with an inoperable cancerous brain tumor in May of 2022 and, even with treatment been failing, especially the last several weeks. We will drive to Florida next week to attend funeral service for her on Saturday December 16th.
Monday we went to the monthly outing with Kenwood people to Mr. Gaatti's Pizza in Weslaco. Played bingo before having lunch.
Went to Men & Women of A-Chord barbershop chorus practice on Tuesday. Our carpool picked up another person for our ride as Mary had gotten south from Minnesota. Makes three from Snow to Sun park and we two from Kenwood park. Snow to Sun is 10 miles from us and then another 27 miles to practice in McAllen.
Few photos before we got down to practice. Are getting along quite well, have 17 numbers pretty much worked up including three new ones. First performance is 27th of January, so have some time to fine tune.
Heading to Progresso, Mexico, tomorrow so I can get permanent bridges in and get off the soft food and being careful to chew on only one side of my mouth.Later, LCM
