Aug 18 in Asheville, NC

66º here in Asheville, NC at 8:20 am on Wednesday with heavy overcast.

Spent time yesterday morning at Biltmore, completing a tour of the interior of the house.  Was raining when we got up and rained until around 7:30 last evening.  Many warnings of flooding in the area and a mud slide at one time on I-40, with at least one tornado warning for this area.  We went to the winery area on the grounds, but only one place open for lunch.  After eating and looking around a little in the rain we returned to the trailer about 1:30 pm.  Rained very hard all afternoon.

We have a "Behind the Scenes" tour at 11 am this morning.

More later, Lynn
