Day with cousins in San Diego

69 degrees and raining in San Diego, CA
Lots of time visiting with cousins.

Phyllis Miles, Barbara Balc, Karen Miles, Lynn Miles, Louise Lassen, Tom Miles.  Cousins

Tom Miles lives in Poway, CA, not too far from here, and he spent about 3 hours visiting, having brought some delicious chicken wings. Barb Balc flew down from Saratoga, CA to near Costa Meca and spent a night with Louise Lassen and then the two of them drove down here, arriving Saturday afternoon.  They stayed overnight and we have had a good long visit with all.  We hadn't been here in Kent and Kaaren's house since 2013.  Kent passed away in 2014 and Karen has made a home for many years before Kent died of their grandson Cameron.  He is now 21 years old so she has raised, alone, a teenager which has been stressful at times - for someone in late 60's and now mid 70's.

Karen's bedroom where we slept.  Cleo, the dog lays on it in the daytime and can keep watch on the driveway, to give the alert when people come.

Barb and Louise when they arrived Saturday.
Lots of visiting today.  Somewhat chilly and rainy so spending time indoors.
Later, Lynn
