A great pair, that just started working together on this cruise.  They will remain on the MS Rotterdam until the end of February.

Well, is 66º with rain here at Kenwood RV at 3:15 pm Friday afternoon.  Was up at 3:15 am to take neighbor lady to the airport in Harlingen.  She was boarding same flight we went on one month ago today to Houston.  However, she will then fly on to Boston where her son will pick her up and take her to his place and she can spend Christmas with them and her 9 month old new Granddaughter.    Back home and went back to bed; then another neighbor lady called at 7:30 and asked Phyllis to drive her to Clinic here in La Feria.  They are back home, and found another neighbor has been taken to Emergency at Harlingen Medical and is waiting to be admitted.

Though it is rainy and gloomy out, we are hoping the Veggie Man will come to the park today.  He said cauliflower was being harvested and hope to get some of that as well as Avocados and other veggies.

 Wednesday night we went to
Pot Luck supper at the hall.

At left in photo is Office Lady Ashley and Activity Director Stephanie who had Pot Luck supper with us.

Thursday morning Phyllis and the ladies were working at the Care and Share (Quilting) in the Rec Hall

Thursday noon we drove the 35 miles west to Riverside Club on the Rio Grande River in Mission, Texas, to an Activity Directors meeting.  Phyllis was going to go with our new Activity Director, but due to an illness of another member in the office she couldn't go.  Phyllis filled in for her and brought back info to help here in her job.
Later, Thursday afternoon. we went to the Meet & Greet session at the Rec Hall.  HEB, the local big grocery store chain, came with cheese and samples of a red wine and a white wine for everyone to taste.  Guess we will be making a trip to the Wine section at HEB.

GROANER'S CORNER:(( A man suffered a serious heart attack and had open heart bypass surgery. He awakened from the surgery to find himself in the care of nuns at a Catholic Hospital. As he was recovering, a nun asked him questions regarding how he was going to pay for his treatment.  She asked, "Do you have health insurance?"  He replied in a raspy voice, "No health insurance."  The nun asked, "Do you have money in the bank?"  He replied, "No money in the bank."  The nun asked, "Do you have a relative who could help you?"  He said, "I only have a spinster sister, who is a nun."  The nun became agitated and announced loudly, "Nuns are not spinsters! Nuns are married to God."  The patient replied, "Then send the bill to my brother-in-law."---------------------

A high level Politician was sitting on the train reading the newspaper. The headline read, "12 Brazilian Soldiers Killed." He shook his head at the sad news, then turned to the stranger sitting next to him and asked, "How many is a Brazilian?"

The teacher of the Earth Science class was lecturing on map reading.  He spent the class explaining about latitude, longitude, degrees, and minutes. Towards the end of class, the teacher asked his students, "Suppose I asked you to meet me for lunch at 23 degrees, 4 minutes north latitude and 45 degrees, 15 minutes east longitude..."A student's voice broke the confused silence, and volunteered, "I guess you'd be eating alone, sir."
More later, Lynn
