Ready for the National Old‑Time Music Festival

Well, we got rain - 2.5" one day.  Almost 90 degrees today with strong south winds -- as much as 6" predicted here over the next couple days!

Saturday we went to a birthday party put on by Teresa Minard at the "new-old" home she just purchased.  She had sold her house after her husband died several years ago, moving into a condo -- and now sold her condo and is moving back to her house.
Sunday took Judy Heuer to church and then attended her Sunday School after coffee time.

Dallas & Vena Glenn were there;
had not been able to visit with them
for some time.

 Judy's brother Larry, and wife Linda had come from Oak Grove, MO; Judy's sister Jan and husband Lynn came from Martel, NE; and her sister Joyce and husband Lorne came from New Market, IA and we ate lunch with them at the Ice House a few blocks from our house.

After lunch we went to Judy's and they all went over a lot of old photos and memories of the Guthries growing up.

Today went to my local doctor and made plans for meds and aligning up with our doctor in Texas.
Last year's crowd in Fremont

Have the trailer all hooked up, plugged into electricity in the garage and most stuff loaded, ready to leave tomorrow just before lunch; will pick up Patty Steckelberg about noon and head for Fremont.  To be raining tomorrow, both here and in Fremont.  Hoping can get set up on the rock RV grounds and get a good spot not too far from the building where the music will be Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  It ends after 8 pm Sunday evening, so will probably come back Monday morning.  Is to be in the 60's all the time, with this cold front and the rain coming through.

Until next time, Lynn
