Hot early September day.

86º outside, but in the sun is hotter than blazes here in Clarinda, IA at 5:00 pm Tuesday.

Brother Darrell and his wife Lin got here Monday evening from Florida.  They thought would be a good time not to be at home with Hurricane Dorian coming up the coast. Their home is a little north and west of Orlando, FL. CLICK HERE for coverage

 

Stopped by the Farmers Market on the Square in Clarinda this afternoon.

Darrell, Phyllis & I went up to the Glenn Miller Birthplace Museum this afternoon.  Shari Greenwood showed us around and explained some of the areas of the museum.  It had been several years since we had been there and this was the first time for Darrell.

I was riding the trike this morning and got a flat tire after only 5.5 miles.  Phyllis & Darrell came and picked me and the trike up with the pickup and I have patched it - now waiting to see if the patch holds before I put the rear wheel back on.
