Was really still this morning and what breeze there was took the balloons away from our RV area. With pretty good telephoto have some photos of a few, up close.
I just found page of pictures at THIS SITE
Very heavy clouds to the east near and over the Sandia Mountains and there was rain forecast this morning, but it didn't happen, at least here.
Our group sitting out, visiting and watching balloons this morning. |
Was still a little chilly sitting out this morning |
Last night we went on the bus to the Balloon Field for their "Glowdeo" and was able to wonder around and watch as they inflated and then as they all hit the propane to glow at command a half-dozen times or so.
These aren't in order correctly here, but show the dog being laid out and then inflated in front of us.
Lined up the $30 pump out of gray and black tanks this morning. No sense carrying the 450 or so pounds down the highway tomorrow.
Our next door neighbor left this morning as well as quite a few in our area. The single lady in trailer right past ours in this photo pulled out a little bit ago. We have couple more meals that were paid for in our package and don't see any reason not to stay. There will be a lift off in the morning and another glow session tonight as well as a repeat of the supper fried catfish and shrimp meal tonight and breakfast in the morning. There is a chance of light showers at the time we hook up, but think that will not be much of a problem.
Will be somewhere in Texas tomorrow and for the next 6 months. We have taken 1,232 photos here at the balloon festival and when I get time and on WIFI at our home in La Feria I will post them to my Google Photos and give a link for anyone interested.
More later, Lynn
