Our weekend in Marengo

 79 degrees at 10:40 am here in Clarinda, IA with overcast skies.  I dumped 1.1 inches of rain from the gauge this morning.

Re-staked the rose bush in front of the house.

This trip of 10 days didn't have the grass grow as high as when we were gone in July.  Got it mowed when we got home Tuesday.

When we got to our son's place near Marengo, IA last Friday the great grandkids were there and Phyllis took a nap on the floor with David.

Once rested up David was wound up and riding his trike and playing with toys.

Great Grandma got to work with a lot of games and little crafts.

Cam & Pat had spent some 28 days in June and July travelling in the Scandinavian countries of Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, and Denmark, as well as flying in and out of  London, England going and coming back.

We spent many hours Saturday and Sunday looking at their photos and videos of their very interesting trip.  They enjoyed it and had many memorable experiences.

Saturday evening we were able to go out to eat in Amana with all of Cam & Patty's family: Ashley, Heath, Jessica and David.  Emily & Derek.

We had left Clarinda with our travel trailer on August 3rd and returned August 13th.  An enjoyable trip.
