74º with cloudy, misty, overcast skies here in Clarinda, IA at 3:45 pm on Friday.
Up until today we have been eating out on the deck most days. Weather not condusive to that now.
Wednesday we went uptown to a promotion for the bullriding contest that was to be at the Page County Fair last night. They had a vey docil small Brama Bull penned up and kids could sit on it for a picture. So, Jessica did. Riding the bull.
This little old grandma from the local nursing home didn't ride the bull, but she wanted to pet it.
Have played Pegs & Jokers with Jessica most evenings. She learned pretty quickly.
Jessica has done quite a bit of weaving, or something with yarn that she makes hot pads.
Got a dozen ears of fresh-from-the field Iowa sweet corn early in the week. Good, Good.
