we are down in

South Texas 

each winter.

These would have

been before 2008.

Well, the IBS Gremlin had ahold of me this weekend, so I missed a Men & Women of A-Chord Barbershop Chorus performance.  Was at practice yesterday, intend to be in Mission, TX next Monday noon with the chorus for a Farewell Lunch for Dennis Bush, a member of the chorus since the mid 1990's.  He is having health problems and, along with his wife he is moving to a care facility in Austin, TX where they will be close to a daughter.  We have nearly 40 lined up to attend.  Will have some pictures.  We are off to First Methodist Church in Harlingen in a bit to 7:00 pm choir practice.  Next Wednesday we will have our Christmas meal and exchange of gifts with them.  December was so crowded with activities it never happened then.
