Starting our trip

70º with smoky overcast in Marengo, IA at 11:26 am Saturday.

Drove the 220 miles from Clarinda, IA to Marengo, Ia yesterday, to start off our vacation trip.

Got to spend some time with the family.  Here is great grandson David smiling for the camera while on Great Grandma Phyllis' lap and momma Ashley beside her.

With the humidity finally dropping from the last several days, it was pleasant on the deck while Cam barbequed some chicken for supper and Phyllis holding David.

Some time with great granddaughter Jessica in the back yard while chicken being BBQed.  Swinging and...........

 playing soccer.

Parked for the weekend in driveway at Cam's near Marengo, IA

I rode the bus with Cam as he took people from workshop in Conroy, IA to their homes in Iowa City, IA Friday afternoon.

Some "talking" from this 4 1/2 month old kid!

Fun time at supper, and after.

More on our trip as we go.
