Hot, hot

88º with "feel like" of 93º here in Clarinda, IA at 12:43 pm Monday July 26th.  Fairly bright sunshine today - yesterday was a gray haze all day, supposedly from the wildfires out west.

Had Granddaughters Emily and Ashly, with Great Granddaughter Jessica visit us over the weekend -- and also Daughter-in-law Patty in and out.  Patty was working with her dad at his house, hoping to help him move before too long.  We did go up to Fred's place to bring back a cabinet Saturday afternoon.

The girls, and Phyllis, walking at Fred's house.

Above, one of Fred's neighbor helped us remove the corner cabinet from the living room and put it in the back of our pickup.
At left: at our place we slid it out of the pickup onto a workbench on wheels of mine and rolled it into the shed to keep until Cam's move it to Marengo.

Supper Saturday evening at our place.

Sunday morning Phyllis & Jessica fixed breakfast.

At the table for breakfast Sunday morning.

GROANER'S CORNER:((

- Patient (to cosmetic surgeon): Will it hurt me, doctor?
Surgeon: Only when you get my bill, Mrs Brown.

- Where does Friday come before Thursday?  In the dictionary!

- Which travels faster -- heat or cold? Heat -- because we can catch a cold.

Later, Lynn
