'Nuther warm day in south Texas

76º with partly cloudy skies here near Harlingen, TX at 9:50 am Wednesday. High to be 89º today.  Had a great "rain" yesterday morning.  Hard sprinkle for about 30 seconds -- enough to splotch the dust on the pickup.  It just can't rain here.

Just re-read this pamphlet/book I
brought from Clarinda.  Really
interesting 800 mile journey in
1979

For some reason I didn't take any
pictures of the work on the wood.

Working at the work bench.

Very interesting book by a Marine who found
and brought back to US a stray pup in Iraq

This book by a Canadian moved to France.  I
am currently listening to this one.

GROANER'S CORNER:((    A circus owner walked into a bar to see everyone crowded about a table watching a little show. On the table was an upside-down pot and a duck tap dancing on it. The circus owner was so impressed that he offered to buy the duck from its owner. After some wheeling and dealing, they settled for $10,000 for the duck and the pot.  Three days later the circus owner runs back to the bar in anger, "Your duck is a rip-off! I put him on the pot before a whole audience and he didn't dance a single step!"  "So?" asked the ducks former owner, "did you remember to light the candle under the pot?"

Later, Lynn

"Paint" by numbers - on the smartphone

Recent weeks I got into several apps of paint by numbers and Phyllis also picked up on it.  Our phones are tied together, so saved pictures...
