Lots of sunshine in the Rio Grande Valley

73º here at our house in La Feria, TX at 7:40 pm on Friday.  Have had windows open day and night since a week ago.  No rain in forecast.
Got up on ladder today and cleaned the roof of lots of needles from the one ever-green tree I planted about 7 years ago.

Cut some of the branches back that were low to ground and low over the roof of the Texas Room.

Several years ago I put screen over the outlet to the gutter at bottom edge of roof so don't have much trouble with that plugging; but, have to rake the leaves and needles down to the bottom and take them off the roof.

Big deciduous tree near the south end of the roof and it drops lots of leaves.

Made lots of trips to
the dump area in the
southeast corner of
the park.

Finally got up and cleaned the several clumps of cable that the Dish guy had left where he took the receiver from and moved it.

Couldn't get the lag bolts out of the mount, but was able to loosen a couple so swiveled the post down to avoid birds sitting on it.

Finally have things moved and cleaned
up by the front door.

A group of butts are out walking. The smallest butt struggles to keep up.

“Sorry, I’m a little behind.”
