Calm now (at 8:15 am)

59 degrees at 8:15 Saturday morning and very strange!  No wind.  Recorded gust at 56 mph yesterday in Harlingen.  Was blowing very hard when we were singing at a gathering in Pharr yesterday after practice for barbershop chorus.
One of the quartets singing

The gathering was for recruiting softball players for that park - Tropic Winds in Pharr, TX - and also for singers for the Men of A-Chord.  They talked up the softball and then we sang and talked up Men of A-Chord and then all ate.  Very good pot luck type meal.  Then we sang some more.  Was after dark before we got back to Kenwood after dropping off Dennis and Bob at Snow to Sun park.

I should have asked someone in the crowd to use my camera to take a photo of us singing--- but didn't.

Gas in this price range pretty well up and down the valley.
