On the road to Pine River, MN

70 degrees and perfect weather at 5 pm in Minocqua, Wisconsin.  Got here to this campground a little after 3 and set up and Phyllis is reading a book and I am catching up on photos and the blog.  I have 837 photos in my Picasa photo program for the month -- though thankfully for you, I have not posted near all in the blog.  Was going to mention earlier, when we were in Columbus we saw gasoline for 2.49 and 2.59 per gallon.  One day a station near Michelle had 2.179 and we filled up.  That day we drove several miles, going some 35 miles to the east to have our trikes worked on, 35 miles back to Columbus and then the 70 mile round trip to pick up the trikes.  Thought would fill up again that night ---- guess what? the price had changed to 2.799 a gallon.  As we left the next morning we saw gas anywhere from 2.59 to 2.79 until we got to the north edge of Columbus and spotted a $2.149 station so filled up.  We were quite a ways up the road and was needing gas so pulled off the interstate we were on and stopped at first station --- $3.109.  Put in 10 gallon; had to drive a mile the wrong way to get back to interstate account of one-way streets and a half mile away saw gas at $2.879 a gallon.  Thought Door County, being such a tourist area captive on the peninsula would be high, but $2.549 to $2.799.  We filled up after driving around at the $2.549 and found gas since then all being higher.  No rhyme or reason as often 20 cents difference within a block within same town.

Some stuff for sale in store
Stopped for lunch at a place in Crandon, Wisconsin about 1 pm.
