Really enjoyed the music at Wahoo, in spite of all the rain while we were there.

73º now at 10:30 am Tuesday; predicted high today of 81º.  When we got home Monday Phyllis dumped .5" of rain from the gauge, and I dumped .7" this morning.
Click on photos to enlarge.    Okay, I haven't written for some time.  We were at the Wahoo Country  Music Show last Tuesday afternoon until this Monday about 7:30 am.  Rain was predicted Monday and I was unhooked from power, and hooked up to pickup with jacks up by about 7 am.  We did run into rain before we got to Lincoln, some 22 miles south.
Sign at edge of town.

Driving south from Wahoo Monday morning.
This is the schedule, and the check marks are the ones we watched/listened to.
With only 4GB of data a month for our shared phones, I was hesitant to make a second post from Wahoo, especially with photos to upload as they use quite a bit of data.  Now that I am on my own WIFI in the basement at home, hooked to cable, not to worry about data used.

At right and below are some of the different
acts and entertainers.  I am still trying to
get the names from the schedule and
try to apply to the photos.  We took video of
something just under 20 hours and it
is taking a lot of time to edit, delete, combine
and get them ready to put on DVD and also
I am changing them to MP3 to play in pickup.
High Country - Missouri and the Rio Grande Valley

Lori King and Junction 63 - from Lamoni, Iowa

I was really amazed to see my brother Don playing the steel guitar!!!!
A look-alike if I ever saw one.  He is actually Eldon Hardekopf from Grand Island, NE.

Mary Channer Paul in center with her daughter at left.

We were seated by this couple at many of the shows and got acquainted.
They are 88 years old, could barely walk, using canes, but when holding
onto each other they could dance.  They are from Indianola, IA and we
plan to stop and see them sometime in our travels.

Back of shirt of one of the drum player/singers.

This couple - Bruce & Betsy Mullen where from Northport, Washington

Sharon Kenaston, at left organizes and runs this show as well
as having a band.  Her sister-in-law is at right.

The Kenaston band backed Terry Smith on his hour-long Sunday afternoon
program.  Sharon's husband is at far right.
Several RV's parked in a cattle barn under shade

RV's parked in several places.  Building at left is stage #1
Area where our trailer was parked

Bob & Sheila Everhart at left - Jacob Austin at right on mandolin.

The Browns sitting next to Phyllis at Stage 1.  Browns are both
88 years old, live on farm at edge of Indianola, Iowa

Phyllis ahead of me walking from trailer back to stage 1

In Stage 3 - this housed kitchen which served terrific food
at very reasonable prices.
Had ice cream on cherry pie one noon.

One night we had the best prime rib dinner
 - enough that we ate a meal the next noon from it, too.
This little baby was dancing with her grandpa
Don't remember his name, but I think he looks like Slim Pickens

Some of the RV's under roof

This young lady was autistic, but
her mother, father, or friends pushed her around the dance
floor in her wheel chair, moving in time to the music which she enjoyed.

Another tee shirt - the "Danciest Dance of the West"
There was flooding in our RV Park in South Texas where we have our mobile home and we saw videos of the water and later with water down.  Probably a little damp on the floor of our Texas Room, but we have decided not to go down there.  Appeared to be an inch or so up on the wall of the Texas Room from video one neighbor took (he had taken a video while water was up and said he was sure the water was 6" to a foot high at our place) but with the inch or so can't think that it is too bad inside.

Will close and get back to working with the videos.
More later, Lynn

"Paint" by numbers - on the smartphone

Recent weeks I got into several apps of paint by numbers and Phyllis also picked up on it.  Our phones are tied together, so saved pictures...
