Heat is on

96º with a "feel like" of 106º at 4:05 pm Friday afternoon.  It is about 70º here in the basement!

Took this picture outside a bit ago.  There is a 9-10 mph wind blowing.

Have not accomplished a lot today.  Changed out a shower head in the guest bathroom (it quit while the Dutch guys were here), getting ready for son and family to come tomorrow for the weekend.   Picked up more sticks from the yard late yesterday afternoon.

GROANER’S CORNER:(( A man joins a big corporate empire as a trainee. On his very first day of work, he dials the pantry and shouts into the phone, "Get me a coffee, quickly!"  The voice from the other side responded, "You fool you've dialed the wrong extension! Do you know who you're talking to, dumbo?"  "No," replied the trainee.  "It's the CEO of the company, you fool!"  The trainee shouts back, "And do you know who YOU are talking to, you fool?!"  "No," replied the CEO indignantly.  "Good!" replied the trainee, and hangs up the phone.
