Rain Storm on Tuesday morning

71º with rain here in Clarinda, IA at 10:00 am Tuesday.

Got the trailer hooked up and pulled out onto the driveway before the rain started about 8 am.

Yesterday, when driving around the area with Darrell and
Jonathan we stopped for a bit at sister Louise's grave

 Had a large branch come down on one
of the trees in the back yard Saturday afternoon.  Presume it was actually damaged in the windstorm last Monday night.

It fell Sunday and I was able to cut it up on the ground

All cut up ready to dispose of.

Brother Darrell's are heading to Lincoln, NE where they will visit with our brother Roger for a bit before heading back to Florida.  Brother Don has been there in Lincoln and is heading back to southeast Missouri today.  Michelle is loading up ready to head east to son Cam's after lunch when we will pull out with the trailer to Wahoo, NE to attend a music festival the rest of the week.

The famous Olympic skier Picabo Street is not just an athlete, she is a nurse.She currently works at the Intensive Care Unit of a large metropolitan hospital. She is not permitted to answer the telephone, however, as it caused simply too much confusion when she would answer the phone and say, "Picabo, ICU."

The U. S. Treasury has announced they are recalling the new West Virginia quarter.According to the Treasury officials the quarter will not work in parking meters, toll booths or vending machines. Apparently the duct tape holding the two dimes and nickel together keeps jamming the machines.
