Sunday

74º here in Clarinda, IA with a 16 MPH wind out of the south.  84º in La Feria, TX with an 18 MPH wind out of the SSE.

Poppy Flower.
Phyllis just gave me her camera to download photos she took on the way from La Feria last weekend.  Here are pictures she took at the Wild Seed Farm near Fredericksburg, TX.
Man in front of Poppy Flowers.

And more Poppy Flowers.

Blue Bonnets (Texas state flower)

Blue Bonnets with Poppy Flowers.

Lots of Blue Bonnets along the road.

Pictures Phyllis took north of Fredericksburg as we headed out of there.
More Blue Bonnets along the road.

I can't remember what town in Texas this was, but was a fairly small town with this one really tall building.

Phyllis has the quilting frame set up and has been sewing.
I spent much of Saturday raking
up the twigs, sticks and small
limbs that came down from the
huge Oak tree to the Southwest
of the house.

Hedge in the back yard is really green and starting to grow.

Well, flower vases are set out under the living-room picture window,
the wind chimes are hanging by the front door (brought from Texas)
and the flag is out -- we are established here.
Visited with several people we hadn't seen for months after Church this morning.
More later, Lynn
