Rain in Clarinda Iowa this last week

76º here in Clarinda, IA at 7:00 pm Sunday.  Received one-half inch rain overnight and one inch of rain overnight the night before and rain several nights before that, but forget the amounts..  Little muggy, but imagine all the row crops are soaking it up.

Phyllis' classmate Nancy Tarrant-Schauerte and her husband Jim Schauerte spent the week with us and got to see the art museum, the Nodaway Valley Museum and the Glenn Miller Birthplace Museum while here as well as attend the gathering Wedensday noon and supper at Bruner's Thursday evening.
They headed out Friday morning for the 8 or so hour drive to their home in Chicago.

I found this very interesting about Jimmy Stewart.

These photos are from the gathering of the Clarinda High School Class of 1962 at Bruner's here in Clarinda Thursday evening for supper.

At right is our container garden and below is some of the produce from it.

I posted when our 10-year old Granddaughter Jessica was with us several weeks ago.  I ran across this picture probably from about 2017 when she was a bit smaller.

Will sign off for now.
