88º with a "feel like" of 101º here in Clarinda, IA at 2:45 pm on Thursday. We were on very south side of a big rain storm that went through in the night, heard some thunder and saw lightning, but not enough rain to make bottom of rain gauge wet.
Tuesday night ate at the local Mexican Restaurant - El Sarape - with Jim & Nancy Schaurte from Chicago and Nancy Fleck Scott from here in Clarinda.
