A day in Branson, MO

93 degrees with a feel like of 103º and a good shower coming down here at Starvy Creek Park near Conway, Missouri at 3:30 pm Tuesday.

We pulled in here Sunday afternoon about 6 pm and got a pretty good site.  We are only about 100 feet from the stage and 50 feet from a shower house and 25 feet from restrooms.  What more could we need?  I would guess there are well over 300 units here now with more coming in all the time.  We walked the grounds Sunday and I would guess it covers 40 acres or more.

We left here for Branson (about 75 miles south) at 8:15 am and got back at 11:230 pm yesterday.  Had a good visit with our friend Steve Baldridge with the Goldwing Express before they went on stage.

Good comedy with a lot of audience participation.  They were fussin' and fuedin over lots of things.

At left is the crew serving us supper: Menu:
Potato Soup, BBQ Pulled Pork, & Roasted  Chicken Drumstick, Green Beans, Mac ‘n ‘ Cheese, Confetti Cake, Dinner Roll, Choice of Beverage

After arriving in Branson in the morning, picking up Shepherd's of the Hills tickets and then some shopping we had lunch at a Wendy's and booked a 2:00 show of Faith's Journey.  With the hectic traffic, we got to our seats just as the lights came up and show started.  A husband and wife,

Getting out of the show 3 1/2 hours before the show with Goldwing, we found a huge building with tons of booths as a flea market.  And, it was air conditioned inside!  With the temp in the upper 90's this was a good way to wait out time to go to our supper and the show.
