Three 300-mile driving days from La Feria, TX toward Iowa

73 degrees and overcast at our RV park southwest of Stratford, OK on Longmire Lake at 5:30 pm Sunday.

Stopped in Paris, TX at their Paris, TX Eiffel Tower.

It seemed a lot bigger on the web page where I found this.  We had lunch at a Denny's in Paris at noon.

Yesterday we went through the Cherokee Trace Drive-Thru Safari near Jacksonville, Texas

Took a lot of photos and will only post a few here.

The idiots in the car ahead of us let any animal stick their head clear into the car.  As you can see from the photo above, the girl in the back seat about went out of the car, nearly every time.  She, or another girl in the car, also kept shrieking, making me think back when granddaughter Emily was young she always would squeal or shriek until I wanted to throttle her.

What you looking at?

Some of the idiots in the cars, like the one ahead of us, really went all out to feed the animals.  This one apparently dove right in and they let it have the sack.  Hopefully it will get wet enough to deteriorate and drop off.

Took almost two hours driving through the Safari, with all the Saturday afternoon families stopping at all the places where signs said "No Stopping" to feed the alfalfa pellets that came with the entrance tickets.  Was about 25 miles from the Safari to where our trailer was parked and we stopped in the middle of that drive to eat a catfish/crab/shrimp dinner at one of the restaurants that indoor dining.

Will be stopping at a few places in Tulsa tomorrow and then stopping overnight at Jim and Patsy Gallaway's place overnight at a suburb northeast of there at Owasso, OK,

This is the first time I have used the Hot Spot from our unlimited data T-Mobile phone.  Works well.

Later, Lynn
