Rainy week in the midlands

57º here in Clarinda, IA at 4:30 pm Tuesday afternoon.  Rained much of the night, only slightly misty during the day, but predicted to rain all night and again tomorrow.

Yesterday we drove south and west to Harold & LaRhoda Neher's farm just east of Hiawatha, Kansas.  Had nice sunny day driving and clouds didn't come in until about time we left them around 4 pm.  Had a nice visit and also got a tremendous lunch with them after which we played several games of Pegs & Jokers.

LaRhoda, Phyllis & I went to an Amish-type shop that is just east of the city of Hiawatha before lunch.  As usual in those type stores, we made a few purchases.

These two photos are Sunday morning with the rain.

Even though we had been home 12 days, I finally got
the trikes assembled and we took short ride around
the hospital Saturday when it was dry.
Riding on the back lot of the hospital.
Saturday I cleaned the rain gutters on the shop

This morning I mowed in the almost-mist cloudy weather day.

These next photos are of the quilt we sleep under here in Clarinda.  We made this some 12 years ago when we still had the sign company equipment to print the photos on fabric and Phyllis put them and about 20 others on the quilt.

Sort of "Old Memories"

I got the address of Bob & Bobi Raab's new
living spot they are moving to in their suburb of Minneapolis sometime this summer and pulled up these photos of the outside.
