Home after cruise

Well, it is 43 degrees with very strong north wind and smattering of rain at 5:00 pm Sunday.  Was 74 degrees at 11 am when we drove to Harlingen Medical to visit neighbor Bob Raab who broke his leg a week ago and is stiill n the hospital after having a "plate" put in.  (Click on any photo to enlarge)
On Bob's room chart, shows
pins and bolts in his leg
Here is professional photo taken of
Patty & Phyllis getting off ship
I should explain about last post.  On the ship I gave in and spent the money to keep in touch with WIFI - about $22 a day - and it worked well anywhere on the phone.  The posting I made with all the photos the day the girls went on shore at the island I had gone to the small library on ship where I had a table to put the PC on and had strong signal where uploading the photos was no problem.  For the first half-hour I was there, there was a group of about 5 women, 4 kids, and 3 men who were having a bible study/church service in Spanish.  I did enjoy the singing that did accompanied by a lap-top.  However, the last night on ship it was late and I wasn't in the mood to walk to the other end of the ship and go up several floors to that location, and the photo loading was really, really slow.
So will try to post some catch-up pictures.

Kaycee with me - she was from the Philippines and real nice.
Well, the above was written just after 5 and then an impromptu gathering was had next door at the Neher's with the Winters and Bobi Raab so went over there and ended up playing couple games of Pegs & Jokers.  Now after dark and with the temperature 42 the "feel like" is reported at 34º!  To be 56 hi tomorrow, 62 on Tuesday and 80º on Wednesday.

Must mention one thing that is always a downer on the cruise ships - the only news is on CNN -- which is full of liberal diatribe having nothing to do with reality.  They made all afternoon news on Thursday about the Dow being down over 1,000 points, showing the closing of the bell and spent 2 hours talking about the Dow being down.  On Friday afternoon they did not even quote the closing since it was up a little over 300 points.  It is a shame many people believe what they put forth.

Anyhow, here are some more activities and photos from the ship.

Can anyone tell me why the bolts on the front wheels of
many semi-trucks have to stick out 3 to 4 inches?
It is getting late and I will do more tomorrow.
