2 weeks in the Rio Grande Valley

73º here in La Feria, TX at 4:15 pm on Monday as I start this.

Had a small group at our first, of the year, bingo and pizza at Gatti's in Harlingon at noon.  I won one game and got prize of free card for eating there another time.

With only 18 people and 5meal tickets provided by Gatti's for prizes there was good chance of winning.

Sunday we went, with Finkens and Winslows, to La Joya to a 3 Schools program of music

La Joya mariachi, folklorico groups and was all in Spanish, lasted 2.5 hours and was very entertaining.

We ate at Rudy's Country Store & BBQ    in Pharr, TX on the way back.  La Joya, TX is some 45 miles to our west and Pharr, TX about half way back.

Been raining the last several days.  But, I got tomato box made and transplanted a few small plants from seeds I planted last week.

Our local high school football team is headed to state tournament on Sat. morning at 9 o'clock in the morning in Mpls. Thank goodness they are playing at the US Bank Stadium where the Vikings play indoors! See you soon. Plan to leave here the 3rd of Dec.
