As he matured, Sampson's incredible strength became apparent. He could pull loads of over 5,000 pounds and run at speeds of up to 30 miles per hour. His massive size - he stood at an astonishing 20.3 hands (68 inches or 173 cm) tall and weighed over 2,000 pounds - made him a gentle giant, with a heart to match.

Sampson's fame spread far and wide, with appearances at horse shows, parades, and even film and television productions. He became a beloved celebrity, known for his intelligence, kindness, and unwavering strength

Did you know that "the Highway to Heaven" Interstate Route 80 (I-80) is one of the major interstate highways in the United States, traversing the country from east to west. The part of Interstate 80 known as "the highway to heaven" is located in Wyoming, between the cities of Laramie and Cheyenne. This stretch of highway passes through the "Summit", a mountain pass in the Laramie Mountains, which is the highest point on I-80 at an altitude of approximately 8,640 feet (2,634 meters) above sea level. This section of highway is notable for its stunning scenery and for being challenging during the winter due to severe weather conditions. Important Features and Details:
1. **Extension and Route**: - I-80 extends for approximately 2,900 miles (4,667 km). - Starts in San Francisco, California, and ends in Teaneck, New Jersey, near New York City.
2. **States Crossed**: - I-80 passes through 11 states: California, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Supertanker Seawise Giant was twice as long as Titanic. Actually, it was so huge it couldn’t navigate neither the English Channel, Suez Canal, or Panama Canal.
Although fascinatng, the story of Seawise Giant is far less known than the story of Titanic.
With a length of 458 meters (1,504 feet) Seawise Giant was the longest self-propelled ship ever built.
Seawise Giant also possessed the largest deadweight tonnage of 564,763 tons.
It could carry 4.1. million barrels of crude oil at a relatively high speed of 16.5 knots (30.6 km/h; 19.0 mph).
Two Mitsubishi steam turbins provided a stunning 50,000 horsepowers.
When at full speed, Seawise Giant needed 9 kilometers (5.5 miles) to stop.
The rudder weighed 230 tons, the propeller weighed 50 tons, and the anchor weighed 36 tons.
Supertanker’s initial purpose was to trnsport crude oil between the United States and the Middle East.
Surprisingly, it required only 40 men crew.
