Want to show the size of the crowd/tentI am guessing that over 800 people were in attendance there. Many camped, and many drove in for each day's performance.
One day before the Festival started there, we drove some 40 miles south of Lincolnton to Harlem, GA where Oliver Hardy, of Laurel & Hardy fame, was born and there is a small museum there which is in a former theater and combined with museum about the city of Harlem along with their welcome center.
This place has a big building with permanent benches in it. We staked out our place on about the 7th row near center aisle with blankets when we got here. Many had already put cushions or blankets out.
Tonight we go to a BBQ supper and then 3 days of music. Here are the three days schedules:
