Christmas Day at Kenwood RV Park 2021

74º here in La Feria, TX at 10:30 am Sunday; 39º in Clarinda, IA.

Went to Christmas Dinner at the Rec Hall yesterday for 12:30 pm meal.  About 60 people attended; turkey, ham, potatoes & gravy were furnished and everyone brought a side dish.  There was quite a variety and allo very delicious.

Filling our plates.

Lots of sharing dishes. Guess I didn't take a photo of the turkey, ham, mashed potatoes and gravy that was provided by the park owners.

Shirley Dagget, at right, just arrived from near Winterset, Iowa

Jerry Doppenberg put on his best sleeveless shirt with short pants for the occasion.

This was photo of all at our table except me.

Photo of our table with me included.

We received third place in the lighting of our houses for Christmas --  Merve & Ruth Stauffer received first place.
Photo on left is of
winners in the Christmas golf cart parade.

Robert Randolf, at right in picture on the left, has been on Hospice for several weeks with cancer, but made it down to the hall for Christmas Dinner.

This photo and one above are of our table.  Sitting with us was Don Unger from Michigan, Shirley Dagget from Iowa, Dick & Deanne Messer from Minnesota, Bob & Bobi Raab from Minnesota, Ardel and Mariion Finken from Indiana, Joyce Holder from Michigan and Darlene Winslow from Michigan.
