It has been hot here. Omaha TV weather guy
said it was longest hottest period of time on record for June. 8 days
straight over 90 degrees. To cool down tomorrow.
I failed to mention yesterday that the day before - June 6th, was both the birthday of my Mother and the wedding Anniversary of Mom & Dad. Mom was born in 1907 and passed in December of 1986, having lived 79 years, 6 months, 3 days. They were married on June 6th in 1934 and had been married 43 years, 9 months, 19 days when Dad passed in March of 1978.
In digging further in old pictures here I came up with black and white negatives, apparently from the professional photographer at the time. These are from March 10, 1963. |
