After we sang in the choir at church Sunday morning we drove to Omaha to Phyllis' sister Beth's son Chris Gregory's place.  After a quick lunch we went with them to Skutt High School there in Omaha to the all-school play "Anything Goes".  Their 17 and 15 year old daughters were both in the play; the older, Ann, did quite a lot of dancing.

We ate at Panda Express in Council Bluffs and drove in our driveway just as it was getting dark -- good timing!

BOOKS -- I have, or am Reading ----
Working through this now.  Quite an
insight on the mid-east wars.  Unfortunately
Chris Kyle was killed in February
of 2013.

Borrowed this book from Harold &
LaRhoda Neher.  Very uplifting in the
way this man is carrying on after loosing
both eyes in the March of 2005 - he became
the first blind officer to remain in the Army

I have been reading this for
the last year and a half.  She
was quite a person.

Got this on Kindle about 6 months ago and usually read myself
to sleep each night.  Am only 25% done with this very interesting
book by Doris Kearns Goodwin

Have been working most of my spare time putting audio and old VCR tapes digital.  Here is one video of a Miles get together at our place on July 3, 1993 CLICK HERE!

GROANER’S CORNER:((  A grandmother was surprised by her seven-year-old helper early one morning. He had made her coffee! She drank what was probably the worst cup of coffee in her entire life. And when she got to the bottom, to her utter amazement, there were three little green, army men in her cup.   Puzzled, she asked, "Honey, what are these army men doing in my coffee?" Her grandson answered, "Grandma, you know how it says on TV, 'The best part of waking up is soldiers in your cup.'"
