Some rain at Clarinda, IA

51º in Clarinda, IA at 2:00 pm with light rain since sometime in the night.
As we drove home Monday we saw several farmers in the field, a little late, but finally getting on with planting.  Monday was the 23rd of April and that is the 53rd anniversary of our Son Cameron's birthday

Tuesday we gathered up some of the "hay" cut last Thursday

Usually use a push mower with bagger,
but couldn't get it started.

With some warmth finally some blooming

Had to pump up garden cart tires.

Changed out air filter on pickup

Anode rod from camper water heater -- ordering new one.

Water heater on the travel trailer.

Back patio all set up with items that had been in storage shed over the winter.  Using the hot tub - good to get back to it.

Got the oil changed in the pickup this morning - have 60,000 miles on it.

GROANER'S CORNER:((  Unable to attend the funeral after his Uncle Charlie died, a man who lived far away called his Blonde brother and told him, 'Do something nice for Uncle Charlie and send me the bill.'
Later, he got a bill for $200.00, which he paid. The next month, he got another bill for $200.00, which he also paid, figuring it was some incidental expense.  But when the $200.00 bills kept arriving every month, he finally called his brother again to find out what was going on.  'Well,' said the Blonde brother, 'you said to do something nice for Uncle Charlie.  So I rented him a tuxedo.'

Till later, Lynn
