In Lafayette, Indiana for the night

72º here in Lafayette, Indiana at 7:30 pm as I start this.

We left Marengo, IA about 9 am Central Daylight Savings Time and arrived here in Lafayette about 5:30 pm Eastern Daylight Savings Time.  In a bit of a crummy RV park - mostly filled with permanent people in construction, I guess.  Lots of old run-down outfits.

Bought gas in Iowa for $1.89 at a Casey's (included $.40 we had built up on our Hy-Vee gas card) then $1.99  in Normal, Illinois where we also ate lunch at an Arby's and for $2.16 just before we left Illinois.
From Normal on east we took county roads.  Lots of corn and beans, right up to the roads.

At Cam's we parked the unit away from the
house a little further than usual and didn't have to chock the wheels, unhook and level the trailer.

Watched Jessica doing her posing

She crawled out the door to this bench

She was doing antics in the living room for everyone

Went to Ammana and ate at
the Ronneberg Restaurant

Jessica was "ready to eat"

"Family Style" -- had lots and lots of really good food, and then more food.  Thought we couldn't eat that much after we had munched through all the meals at State Center while at the Kenwood RV Rally, but managed to.  Maybe it was because we had already stretched our stomachs.
Jessica, only 13 months old, munched right through a
whole meal on her own.  With several upper and lower front
teeth and some molars coming in she can really put away the food!
Have another couple hundred miles tomorrow and will spend a few days with Daughter Michelle in Columbus, Ohio.

More later, Lynn
