81º F - 27º C here in Schuyler, NE at 11:30 am Wednesday. Rained hard with lightning and thunder during the night. If you have ever been in an RV in a rainstorm you know that you are quite aware of the rain, thunder, etc.
Yesterday we drove some 60 miles north to Norfolk and spent time with Phyllis's cousin Gwen Runyan Stanley. Visiting her was here nephew Lloyd Runyan from New Orleans. He had been at the LSU championship game at the College World Series in Omaha and was flying back yesterday afternoon.
Had a good visit and Lloyd caught up on a bunch of relatives by going through books with Phyllis & Gwen.
We drove all the way to Norfolk in heavy fog. Coming back after lunch we were in light rain until Columbus and then bright sunshine.Patty S. do you recognize this guy? We stopped in Madison on the way back from Norfolk and visited a bit with John Orlowski. He said he quit square dance calling in 2013 as just had too many irons in the fire with his work and racing and the boys. He recognized us right off and we had a nice 20-minute or so visit.
