Cool and misty in Clarinda

 47º with light rain here in Clarinda, IA at 4:00 PM on Friday.  Waiting for call from Champ's Auto to go down and pick up the pickup after lube, oil change, brake replacement and some repairs on front suspension.  Have been getting some squeaking from front end for a few weeks, but waited until getting back to Clarinda to have it worked on; thought might just be lack of grease, but was a little more serious.

Just finished circling our Ash tree with the Emerald Ash stuff.  Hope it keeps the beetles off for another year.

Spent several hours yesterday mowing the lush lawn that had heavy coating of leaves on much of it.  Ended up with a windrow that I picked up with the black cart.

Went to choir practice Wednesday.  We will be singing Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday.
