Lots of activity

48º and dark at Kenwood RV Park at 7:41 pm Saturday.  Another busy week.

Went to eat this afternoon at The Cattlemen's Company in San Benito, TX with Darlene Winslow.

Earlier today spent a lot of time packing things in the pickup, ready to leave Tuesday.

This morning I was "sausage server" at the last Saturday morning breakfast for Kenwood.  Had pretty good sized group.

This week, after cement had been poured, the crew came in and started the walls to the apartment building being built right behind our house.

Got 50 lbs. of the sweet 1015 Onions from the Veggie man, Joe, Friday afternoon.  With any luck, these will last us through much of the summer.

Friday, at 2 pm, Gerri & Jeff Boutelli, Bill & Pam Elwanger, and others, served a fish & shrimp--with mushrooms, fried potatoes and fried onions -- and everyone brought a side dish.  About 100 showed up and brought lots of food--seemed like more side dishes than either Thanksgiving or Christmas.  All good food--and lots.

Got a start on taking all the insulation panels out of storage and putting them up on the windows in the Texas room.  Will get them all up by Monday evening for when we leave the house for the summer.

Took the head off the weather station, so the plastic in it won't deteriorate over summer.

Thursday I picked up pizza from Domino's for the quilting ladies & spouses at the Rec Hall.

Thursday afternoon we went to Sam's Club to get eggs, pancake mix, Jimmy Dean precooked sausage and other stuff for the Saturday morning breakfast.

Last Tuesday we performed at Bentsen Grove RV Park with the Men of A-Chord Barbershop Chorus.

This is where we will be Wednesday, at Canton, TX - east of Dallas.

Lots of activity and we aren't half-way through March.

Plan to sing with the "special music" in church here in the Park tomorrow morning and will be singing our last performance of the season with the Barbershop Chorus tomorrow night at Alamo Palms RV Park in Alamo, Texas tomorrow night.

Later, Lynn
